She means so much to me....

- - - - - - -

Hard as Stone
with hidden fears
she loves in silence
no one hears

Eyes of ice
never to melt
locked feelings
never felt

Spirit of steel
never broken
frozen emotions
left unspoken

Heart of gold
sweet as can be
beautiful soul
she means so much to me.....

Bulleha least I know who am I ?

Bulleha least I know who am I ?
Neither am I a believer in mosque
Neither have I trodden the infidel's path
Neither am I pious in sinful
Nor I Mosses in Pharaohs
Bulleha least I know who am I?
Nothing I have to do with piety or putresence
Nor am I in pleasure or grief
Neither am I of water nor of earth
Neither am I of fire nor of air
Bulleha least I know who am I?
Neither I found the secret of religion
Nor was I born of Adam or Eve
Neither am I of those who squat
Nor I have to do with dwelling
Bulleha least I know who am I?
From the beginning to the end
I know nothing but me
Nobody else I recognize and found
Nobody else more sage than thee
Bulleha who Spouse is around
Bulleha least I know who am I.

EID UL FITR

Now that we fasted and did extra good deeds,
We celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr,
one of the two Eids!

Allah prescribed two Eids and forbid all other festivals,
He told us to worship Him and try to get the medals!

Ramadan is a special training for a Muslim,
Practice Islam even when its light appears to be dim.

Continue doing good deeds,
just as in RamadanAnd give Sadaqa-e-Fitr,
for every child, woman and man

We go to the Eid-gah and say the Takbir,
On Eid day, our best clothes we do wear!

We listen to the Eid khutbah,
And don’t leave until we pray the Eid salah!

We go to the Eid prayer in any type of weather,
And give presents to each other!

We say Eid Mubarak,
And wish each other good luck!

We celebrate festival of Eid
By thanking Allah for granting us our needs!

It was the night of Lailatul-Qadr

'Twas the night of Lailatul-Qadr
And all through the frat
Not a creature was stirring
Not even a rat.

The guys were all sleeping
All snug on the floor,
Till one of them woke
From a loud raucous snore.

It came from outside,
Not a snore but a clatter,
So Bilal rushed to the window
To see what was the matter.

The thought of a burglar
Was his reason to hurry,
But Alhamdoolilah,
'it was old Ramadan Ali!

His charm and charisma
Could surely outdo most,
His belly shook when he laughed
Like a plate full of hummos.

His aura was commanding
Yet jovial and funny,
Like a mixture of falafel
And chicken biryani.

His angels hung their blessings
Over the chimney with care,
In hopes that we thank
Allah later through prayer.

When Ramadan Ali was done,
He hurried away,
And Bilal swore that he glimpsed
A camel-drawn sleigh.

"Bismillah-Hirrahmaan-Nirraheem!
On Faisal! On Amina! On Abdul-Kareem!
On Aisha! On Sonia! On Hussain and Imran!
On Adil! On Omar! On Rudolph Ali Khan!"
(he converted)
And through the most holy night,

Bilal waved the spirit goodbye,
And the crescent-shaped moon
Caught the noor from his eye.
And as he went back to sleep,
The faint voice didn't wake 'im:
"A peaceful Ramadan to all! As-salaam-alaikum!"
